V o l u n t e e r i n g
The Hillbillies 4x4 Club participates in the US Forest Service program of volunteer assistance through their Adopt-a-Road program. With the guidance of forest service personnel we have helped repair various existing trail features, install new authorized signage, secure and place steel campfire rings, install trail-side fencing and work to keep trails free of trash. Many of these efforts were possible though obtaining grant monies which provided supplies, equipment rental and feeding our troops. We also perform meet-n-greet outings to hand out free literature for groups such as treadlightly! and Stay The Trail, as well as the Colorado Association of 4-Wheel Drive Clubs. Below are a few examples of our volunteer efforts.
